Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend and a good Monday. I know mine was pretty long because as a teacher our school year just started. Man am I beat! As a teacher and someone who is slightly of the curvier variety, comfort and stretch is a MUST for me. I will NOT BUY ANYTHING unless it is soft and somewhat stretchy. This outfit is so ideal for comfort! The shirt is a super soft cotton and stretches with my body without clinging awkwardly. The only downfall is after washing it begins to roll up at the bottom. I love these Joe’s Jeans because they are distressed but also made of a stretchy material!!! They were a little over my budget of $50 (I paid $70) BUT they will last and go with a lot of my closet. Plus who doesn’t love pants that stretch?! So ideal for taco Tuesday. wink wink. My shoes were also a little over budget at $70 but were on sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They are a great brand, versatile and go with everything. Thankfully I found some similar styles for you and Famous Footwear is having buy one get one half off sale to boot. Now I know what you’re thinking and Yes this blog is supposed to be about styles UNDER $50. I only stray from this budget if the deal is just too good to pass up OR if it is a piece that will no doubt be a staple in my closet. If I know it will last throughout the fashion changes and remain a classic, I will make the purchase. I highly encourage you to rummage through your local Marshall’s for shoes this fall. I find so many great deals there! It’s also a great place for name brand jeans at a fraction of the cost.
